Villa Nuit Jade – Luxury Villa in Terres Basses, Sint Maarten

Few villa pools on Sint Maarten stop you in your tracks the way Nuit Jade's does. Set on a large teak deck with the land falling away sharply below it, the heated infinity pool seems to pour directly into the Atlantic horizon. A built-in fire pit and lounge area anchor one end; on the other, the open terrace with its outdoor bar runs the full width of the villa, shaded just enough to make a long lunch comfortable.

The interior matches the ambition of the outdoor space: a bright open living room connected directly to the terrace through frameless glass, a fully equipped kitchen, and a long dining table beside the outdoor bar. Five bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, are split across two wings. Four share the main level: two with direct pool access and sea views, two opening to private garden terraces with outdoor showers. The fifth is a self-contained studio, accessible from outside only, with its own kitchen, living area, bedroom with dressing room, and private jacuzzi terrace. The kind of arrangement that makes multi-generational travel genuinely workable.

The pool is heated from mid-October through mid-April as standard; the rest of the year the Caribbean does the job anyway. A pétanque court rounds out the grounds, and Terres Basses beaches are a three-minute walk in either direction.
